How do I know if I have coverage in my area?

Check our coverage map to verify service in your area. You can enter multiple addresses to check all the areas where you’re likely to use your phone most often.

Outside factors like terrain, building structures, weather and other conditions may also interfere with the actual service available.

What’s the difference between 5G and 4G LTE?

5G is the latest generation of wireless technology and is faster than 4G LTE, but the real benefits are stronger connectivity, better coverage, and greater reliability. 5G is also capable of handling more devices.

Does data get consumed faster with a 5G phone?

No. 5G increases the download speeds, but if a file requires 2 MB of data to download on 4G LTE, it will require 2 MB of data to download on 5G. It may just download faster.

Is 5G included with all SmartLess Mobile plans? Do I have to pay extra?

5G access is included with all SmartLess Mobile plans at no extra cost.  You do need to be in an area with 5G coverage and have a 5G-capable phone to access the network.

What is domestic roaming and how does it work?

All SmartLess Mobile plans include limited domestic roaming. If you have data roaming turned on and go outside of the coverage area, your phone may switch to a domestic roaming partner if one is available.
