California privacy notice

This notice is a derivative of the SmartLess Mobile Privacy Policy and applies exclusively to California residents. It describes the rights granted to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and the steps SmartLess Mobile takes to support those rights.

1. Your Privacy Rights as a California Resident

California residents have the following rights:

  • Right to Know: You have the right to request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used, or disclosed.

  • Right to Delete: You may ask us to delete personal information we’ve collected about you, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., legal compliance, fraud prevention).

  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information maintained by SmartLess Mobile.

  • Right to Opt-Out of Selling or Sharing: We do not sell your personal information. If that changes, we will provide a clear opt-out mechanism.

  • Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: If we collect sensitive personal information (such as precise geolocation), you can direct us to use it only for limited, permitted purposes. Currently, SmartLess only uses such data to deliver core services like connectivity and 911 support.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination: Exercising your privacy rights will not result in any form of unfair treatment.

     

2. How SmartLess Supports These Rights

We’re committed to transparent, accessible, and fair privacy practices for all customers, including:

 

Clear Disclosures: Our Privacy Policy outlines what data we collect and how we use it in clear, accessible language.

 

Tools to Manage Your Data: You can view and adjust your privacy preferences—including CPNI marketing settings—via your online dashboard or by contacting us.

 

Submitting a Request: California residents can exercise their privacy rights by (1) Visiting the Marketing Preferences Page in MyAccount, and/or (2) Following the instructions located in our Privacy Policy

 

Verification Process: We will verify your identity before processing any request to ensure the security of your personal information.

 

Minors Under 16: We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
